Reiki and Menopause
The fluctuation of hormones during menopause can lead to feelings of anxiety about what the future holds and maybe feelings of sadness about things you had wanted to do but hadn’t gotten around to.
The positive side is that the menopause can also be a time of personal reflection on everything that has been achieved.
Some of the more common menopause symptons include:
Hot flushes/Night sweats
Mood swings/Irritability
Weight gain
Loss of libido
Loss of confidence/Anxiety
Short term memory loss
Fatigue/Brain fog
Headaches

Food and exercise play a big part in managing your symptons it is therefore a good idea to make a note of any food or drink that may trigger your symptons also do acknowledge the positive effects that exercise has it will motivate you to continue.

The hand placements carried out during a reiki session correlate with the endocrine system (hormones) and chakra positions (energy centres) throughout the body, treating the whole self - mind, body and spirit.
